The Forest of Bowland AONB
The Forest of Bowland AONB is located literally at the centre of Great Britain.
Forest does not refer to trees in this case. The word Forest is an old term meaning 'Royal Hunting Ground' and was once a favourite playground for royals shooting game, boar, deer and many other creatures.
AONB in an acronym for Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and I hope our photography helps to get this point across to our viewers.
More info coming to this section very soon.
